In 1991 Dermot Cook realised his ambition to open a Maths Grinds School in Dublin. Already a dedicated and experienced teacher he pursued his passion and love of maths by opening his own school with the aim of helping students to discover an enthusiasm for maths as well as achieving optimum exam results.
A former member of the National Council of the Irish Mathematics Teachers Association and chairperson of the IMTA Dublin branch, Dermot has contributed to many maths text books used in schools such as the Concise Maths series. JustMaths Grinds School was previously known as The Mathematical Tutorial Center and since inception has gone from strength-to-strength and is highly regarded as a centre of excellence for dedicated maths education in Ireland.
Places are in high demand for students of all abilities and exam stages in their education. Dermot prioritises good communication with students, parents and guardians to find the best approach to an enjoyable learning experience as well as maximising results.

Dylan Curran
Dylan studied Actuarial and Financial Studies at University College Dublin. He is a member of UCD's Ad Astra Academy as an academic scholar, and was a holder of an Actuarial and Financial studies scholarship at University College Dublin.
Katie Moore
Katie has completed a study year of Psychology at Trinity College, Dublin. When she's not studying, or teaching, she likes to try her hand at as many different sports as she can.
Margaréta Merényi
Margaréta is a Mathematics and Music teacher who also has a keen interest in conducting choirs and playing piano. She was awarded the Gold Medal from Trinity College, Dublin, for her exceptional merit at degree examinations.
Oisin Farrell
Oisin has recently completed a Masters in Computer Science. When he's not studying, or tutoring for JustMaths, his main hobbies include football, cooking and all things outdoors.
Fees
Tuition fees are paid in two halves for a full academic year. A discount is available if the fees are paid in full for the year. For more information please get in touch.

JustMaths Grinds School is easy to find and is located just a one minute drive from Junction 11 off the M50 in Dublin.
